Whoa!

Wow, things have been really hectic in my life right now! Most of my residents are moved in and although it's exciting, it also kind of scary and overwhelming... so much to do in such little time, I often feel as though I'm not taking enough ininative around here! Oh well. I've really been focused on the following verse these past few weeks: "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires." (2 Peter 1:3-5, 6-11 is good stuff too!). I know I don't trust myself enough and believe that I have the ability to be a good housefellow and role model, but this verse reminds me that with God I have everything I need for an abundent life. How cool. It's good to know I'm not in this alone and that I have some backup!
Other than that, today was one of my first events at the marketing athletic department, it was kind of long and boring! The stadium was open for people to tour and we had to just stand and point people in the right direction. We then spent the rest of the afternoon setting up for an event tomorrow, where kids can come and get autographs from the players.... but it was really testing my patience we sat around FOREVER waiting to get organized - it only made me think about all of the stuff I was missing at Ogg.... but it's over now, that's good!
