God is BIG!

At Passion, one of the main sessions Louie showed us images of our galaxy. I will not do his talk justice, or the awe I felt at the biggness of God upon seeing these images, but I can't help but find it amazing that galaxies and stars like these exist millions of light years away, and God knows them all by name. And somewhere in the same galaxy billions of light years away is a little speck of dust called Earth - which you may have heard of. And just like the stars in the galaxy, God knows every person on the planet.
Today I had a really frustrating day. Somehow the other 39,999 people on this campus have no trouble enrolling for classes and getting their requirements (or so it seems) but I just don't seem to get it! I was feeling overwhelmed, and some how these images popped into my mind. God is bigger than any of my problems here, he WILL come through. If he can coordinate and create the universe, coordinating my class schedule would be a piece of cake. Plus, if I let this struggle get me down, what will happen when something really challenging happens? God will see me through and I know that my times of frustration will result in a more Godly character stemming from a richer, fuller hope in God.
This thought blows my mind away everytime I try to wrap my brain around it: nothing is too small for God, because he created EVERYTHING here on earth and in the universe. He knows all because he IS all. All of creation worships God, and waits in eager expectation for us to join.
"And now we rejoyce in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoyce in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perserverence; perseverence character, and character hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit which he has given us." Romans 5:2-5
"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself would be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.: - Romans 8:18-21
